Science Celebration Days offer guests the opportunity to interact with partners and practitioners as they showcase their own real-world experiences. With partners stationed throughout the galleries from 10AM-2PM, it’s the perfect complement to enhance your experience as all additional activities are included FREE with your general admission. Kentucky Science Center is open from 9:30AM-5PM on those days, additional experiences are from 10AM-2PM only.

Making is all around us. Explore STEAM careers with talented local professionals, ask questions, and learn about how you can translate your favorite Maker hobbies into the workforce. Then get hands-on with a wide variety of fun and challenging Maker activities.
What is Making? The basis of all scientific endeavors is the cycle of curiosity, tinkering, discovery, mistakes and problem-solving, or making. These skills are vital to our 21st century workforce as we make and collaborate to solve real-world problems. Maker Days allows guests to develop these important next generation skills and solve problems.
