MakerPlace blends together science, technology, engineering, art, and math in a space centered around creativity and endless possibility.

The basis of all scientific endeavors is the cycle of curiosity, tinkering, discovery, mistakes and problem-solving. These skills are vital to our 21st century workforce as we collaborate to solve real-world problems. MakerPlace allows children and families to develop these important next generation skills as you work together to engineer your own unique creation with the help our experienced educators.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

MakerPlace activities are generally designed for ages 8+ with adult supervision. Our experienced educators will always be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance as you explore activities like soldering, circuitry, textile crafts, leatherwork, and so much more!

DROP-IN ACTIVITIES

Our MakerPlace offers a variety of drop-in activities with experienced educators on hand to provide guidance.

MAKERPLACE WORKSHOPS

MakerPlace Workshops offer guided, hands-on experiences led by our expert educators. Explore skills like soldering, leatherwork, and optical illusions in workshops that typically last two hours and include a take‑home project.
