Make Your Season at Kentucky Science Center

Join Kentucky Science Center for its annual Make Your Season Celebration. With limited capacity, mask requirements, and more than 50,000 square feet of space, you can Do Science safely inside the building. Make Your Season activities will focus on aviation, including engineering challenges and a flight course where families can launch a paper airplane more than 30 feet in the air. Kentucky Science Center is open seven days a week from 9:30 am-5 pm.

The MakerPlace will have free drop-in activities or $5 Make and Takes and 90 minute workshops. Design your own gifts including Swanky Seasonal Sweaters, Laser-Etched Keychains, Alcohol Ink Ornaments, Snowglobes, and Agate Suncatchers.

Buy Tickets

Advance tickets are recommended for all visitors, including members. There are limitations on the number of people allowed in the building at one time and priority will be given to those with advance tickets. Due to Covid-19, we are accepting only card transactions.

Masks or face shields are required for all visitors 6 and older.

Please stay with your travel group and maintain social distancing.

Wash your hands frequently and use the hand sanitizer we have throughout the building.

Kentucky Science Center is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, along with several select staff training days throughout the year.

For up-to-date weather closures, please follow us on Facebook.
