Summer Camp

Is your child ready for a fun experience at a place they love? At Kentucky Science Center’s Schools Out Summer Camp, your child will develop skills and make friendships that will last a lifetime. Our camp encourages all campers to play, tinker, and investigate the world around them with plenty of time to explore their favorite science center.

COVID-19 Procedures
We are very excited to announce that following the Governor’s announcement of openings, Kentucky Science Center School’s Out Science Camp will begin the week of June 15.

Over the last 2 months, KSC School’s Out Science Camp continued to work toward providing a safe and healthy environment for all of our campers and their families. In compliance with the guidelines announced by state and local officials, we will institute wellness screenings, social distancing measures, and disinfection and sanitation protocols for our staff and facility.

We aim to provide the safest camp possible for our campers and staff. The science is still there, just with a little more space between the bowls of slime. We are exploring new ways to communicate with and include our campers in the conversation. Navigating these uncertain times can be scary and overwhelming. Camp can lay a course toward building resilience and hope that will set root and grow with our campers throughout their lives. A full listing of our policies can be found here.

RISK-FREE REFUND POLICY
If you are unable to attend a week for which you are registered, simply notify us by Monday, one week before the start of that session to receive a full refund. To plan appropriately for staff, supplies and capacities, it is critical we can accurately anticipate enrollment and attendance. If you do not contact us by email by the date, we will be unable to provide a credit/refund for any fees paid for that week.

Please feel free to email us with any questions.
