Looking for fun ways to Do Science? You’re in the right place. From free PlayDates for kids under four, to forums for adults who like to geek out (and everything in-between) Kentucky Science Center programs aim to make science learning personal, fun, participatory, and relevant, for everyone.
Early Childhood (0-4)
School's Out Science Camps
Imagine, discover, get messy, and learn while engaging in play, hands-on exploration, and creative activities.
Children and Families (5-12)
MakerPlace Workshops
Tinker, hack, design, and build – the Maker movement empowers the next generation of inventors and MakerPlace gives them the tools to explore their creative ideas. Workshops are designed for ages 8 or older.
Science Celebrations
Science Celebrations offer students and families the opportunity to interact with regional businesses and STEAM practitioners as they showcase their own real-world experiences.
Sensory Friendly No Limits Family Nights

Eat, Drink, and Do Science in a completely kid-free night at your Kentucky Science Center. Each event will feature a unique theme with hands-on activities, drinks, light bites, and access to all our exhibits.
