Kentucky Science Center Presents “Mystery at the Museum”
Eat, Drink, Play, and Solve the Case at the Science Center’s Newest 21-and-Over Event, Plus a Special Showing of Clue
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – LOUISVILLE AND SURROUNDING AREAS – Kentucky Science Center recently announced their newest after-hours event for 21 and up: “Mystery at the Museum.” The evening of May 18th the Science Center will serve as backdrop for a live “Clue” game, where guests can enjoy the Center’s exhibits and solve the case at their own pace, alone or in teams. Each admission includes complementary cocktail and themed hors d’oeuvres provided by Masterson’s Catering; a cash bar will be available.
Guests will visit and question characters throughout the building, taking notes and using classic “Clue” logic in order to solve the mystery. In addition to character stations, themed scientific content will be provided by partners including Kentucky State Police Forensic Laboratories, the University of Louisville Biology Department, Louisville Metro Police – Crime Scene Unit, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
“Everyone loves a good mystery – now you get to experience one first-hand”, said Science Center Manager of Public Programs and Events, Andrew Spence. “We’re pairing the nostalgia of the classic Clue board game with a plain fun evening of drinks and friends. Plus, you’re guaranteed to learn something from our fascinating partners.”
“Mystery at the Museum” will begin at 6:00 p.m. on May 18th and finish at 9:00, but guests are welcome to arrive and solve at their convenience. Tickets are $40 for Science Center members and $45 for general public. For even more mystery, the Science Center will be showing the cult classic film Clue on May 11th at 8:00 PM. Tickets for Clue are $8 for members; $10 for general public. Clue is rated PG and not limited to guests 21+.
