Kentucky Science Center is partnering with Wild Health to offer a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for children ages 5-11 this weekend. Clinic spots will be available Friday, November 12th and Sunday, November 14th, with the first vaccination appointment at 10AM and the last appointment at 2:50PM both days. Children who attend the clinic will receive the Pfizer vaccine recently approved for administration to children.
All children who receive a vaccine at this weekend’s clinic will also receive free same-day admission to Kentucky Science Center with proof of vaccination.
“We are very excited to host a vaccine clinic, demonstrating our commitment to our youngest visitors and to science,” says Kentucky Science Center CEO Mike Norman. “We love to Do Science with everyone, and this is another way for us to support our community.”
Wild Health offers testing and vaccination services in 18 states. Their clients include major universities, Fortune 500 companies, and a number of small local businesses and community organizations. Through a partnership with the University of Kentucky, Wild Health was able to offer free COVID-19 testing throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Wild Health has also partnered with JCPS for testing and vaccination services.
Parents or guardians who wish to register their children for Kentucky Science Center’s vaccine clinic should visit https://kyvax.wildhealth.com, choose “Jefferson” under “County”, and “Kentucky Science Center” under “Location”. The vaccine clinic will take place at Kentucky Science Center’s Science Education Wing, located at 745 W. Main Street in Louisville.
Kentucky Science Center is located at 727 W. Main Street on Louisville’s historic Museum Row and is open to the public seven days a week from 9:30AM to 5:00PM. Our 50,000 square feet of space allows families plenty of opportunity to explore, experiment, and Do Science. To protect our youngest guests, many of whom may not yet have had the chance to be vaccinated, Kentucky Science Center requires masking for everyone ages 2 and over.
