KENTUCKY SCIENCE CENTER TO HOST TECHNIQUE WEEK AT PURDUE POLYTECHNIC

LOUISVILLE, KY — Kentucky Science Center is proud to partner with Purdue Polytechnic for their Technique Week Sumer Camp, an exciting week of Maker and STEAM experiences in a college-level environment.
This camp is offered for grades 9-12 and runs from July 8th-July 12th. The hours are 9:00AM-2:00PM with 8:00-9:00AM drop off, and 2:00-3:00PM pick up. Purdue Polytechnic is located at 3000 Technology Avenue, New Albany, IN 47150. Per camper the cost is $200.
The camp partnership gives high school students a chance to experience a college campus while learning important workforce skills in a fun and science-focused atmosphere. Campers will learn new maker skills and techniques, and embark on a weeklong project to explore how their creativity can help engineer the automated systems of the future.
Purdue Polytechnic is located in Lafayette, Indiana, and is one of Purdue’s 10 campuses offering a wide variety of majors in different disciplines.
Kentucky Science Center is located at 727 W. Main Street on Louisville’s historic Museum Row and is open to the public seven days a week from 9:30AM to 5:00PM.
