Following the guidance of the Louisville Metro Public Health department and the Mayor’s Office, Kentucky Science Center will close to the public from Sunday, March 15 at 5 p.m. until Monday, April 6 at 9:30 a.m. in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to responsible, prudent actions during this time as the safety and well-being of our guests, team members, volunteers, and partners are our priority.
Due to this unforeseen closure Kentucky Science Center, School’s Out Spring Break Camp is canceled. As a service to working parents and caregivers, we will be open for Pop Up Science Days daily Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 3. Pop up Science Days are only for children age 4 through 6th grade and will run from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily. We will not be open to the general public so there will be more room for our Pop Up Science Days children to spread out, allowing more social distancing among them. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as spots are limited. If you have previously registered for School’s Out Spring Break Camp your registration will be applied to the Pop Up Science Days. If you have any questions please contact us at 502-560-7128.
Most of us have never been through an experience like the COVID-19 pandemic. The KSC community, working together, will get through this and will be back to Do Science soon.
