New Immersive Space Science Learning Program

New Immersive Space Science Learning Program

We are proud to announce that, as part of a long term collaborative effort with our partners at Jefferson County Public SchoolsChurchill Downs, and Churchill Downs Incorporated, we will be embarking on a program that will bring nearly 2,000 6th graders one step closer to their space exploration dreams!

This sixth grade science immersion program will include full-day curriculum that will allow students to simulate an actual mission to Mars at our Challenger Learning Center. But the fun won’t stop there, at Kentucky Science Center students will also be able to explore our space exhibit and take part in hands-on classes, designed to stimulate scientific learning! We are so excited for what the future will bring for these students, and thankful to our partners at JCPS and Churchill Downs for making this dream into a reality!
