MakerPlace Workshops
Tinker, hack, design, and build – the Maker movement empowers inventors of all ages and our MakerPlace supplies the tools to explore creative ideas. MakerPlace blends science, technology, engineering, art, and math in a space centered around creativity and endless possibility. The basis of all scientific endeavors is the cycle of curiosity, tinkering, discovery, mistakes and problem-solving. These skills are vital to our 21st century workforce as we collaborate to solve real-world problems.
MakerPlace Workshops offer guided, hands-on experiences led by our expert educators. Explore skills like soldering, leatherwork, and optical illusions in workshops that typically last two hours and include a take‑home project.
Open to makers ages 8+ and not just for kids! Adults are welcome to come tinker, experiment, and create. No kiddo required.
