The Louisville Youth Science Summit, now in its 7th year, is expanding to include lab experiences in multiple locations in downtown and Old Louisville. Join your peers for a day-long Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) focused event that puts you on track to becoming a leader of tomorrow.

This year’s Keynote Reid Brown will share how Global Marine Tracking systems utilize spy science and combat piracy.
Reid Brown started his Genscape career in the Lab building electromagnetic field monitor devices used to track energy flows across the globe. He currently develops software apps for Genscape Field Agents while also managing Genscape’s U.S. Maritime shipping radio monitor network. He enjoys playing basketball and mountain biking.

The same great content as the Middle School S.T.E.M. Track, with a focus on girls in S.T.E.M. careers.

– Introduction to Research and High School Prep Lab with STEMinar Club, Dupont Manual HS
– Interdisciplinary talk with Iuliana Popescu, UK College of Medicine
