Visitor Services Representative – Part Time
Visitor Services Representatives are the first contact our guests have at the Kentucky Science Center. A friendly demeanor and glowing attitude are a must. Successful candidates for this entry level position will have at least a High School Diploma, prior retail cash handling and service experience, the ability to work a flexible schedule and a desire to support informal education. Offsite Program  Demonstrator – Part Time
The Offsite Program  Demonstrator engages visitors of all ages in educational and entertaining offsite programmatic capacity. This role will primarily focus on our mobile van programs such as Captain Current vs The Electricity Vampires and Ion Jones.  Educators will be expected to teach in a variety of settings that includes but is not limited to assemblies, outreaches, after school programs, demonstrations and science expos. This role also includes maintenance and coordination of supplies, offsite logistics, volunteer training, correspondence, set-up and/clean-up, and outreach facilitation.
