Camp Lead – Summer Position
The Kentucky Science Center is seeking a seasonal Onsite/Offsite Camp Lead for our summer 2015 School’s Out Science Camp program. The Camp Lead will play a vital role in the day to day management of camp.  The Camp Lead will work closely with the Coordinator of Fee-Based and Catalyst Programs and Manager of Fee-Based and Offsite Initiatives to ensure the daily coordination of the School’s Out Science Camp program.

Camp Supply Assistant – Summer Position
The Kentucky Science Center is seeking a seasonal Camp Supply Assistant for our summer 2016 School’s Out Science Camp program. Manager of Annual Fund and Individual Giving – Full Time
The Annual Fund and Individual Giving Manager provides strategic direction and leadership of the Kentucky Science Center’s Annual Fund campaign, including stakeholder cultivation efforts to meet annual and long-term goals.  This includes the analysis, planning, execution, control, and evaluation of annual fund raising, collaborative relationships with strategic private and public partners, and designated communication activities related to fund raising.  The individual will personally manage a portfolio of donors and prospects and be actively involved in strategy sessions, cultivation and solicitation activities.    Click here to download full Job Description

Operations Specialist – Full Time
The Operations Specialist is responsible for the daily operations of the Kentucky Science Center, including the interactive exhibits, physical plant and equipment, and rental activities.  Key responsibilities include maintenance and repair of exhibits, physical plant and equipment; performing preventative maintenance and upgrades; supporting rental activities and functions; coordinating work with external contractors; and collaborating with staff to support the mission of the Kentucky Science Center. Click here to download full Job Description

Finance Administration Clerk – Part Time
The Finance Administration Clerk is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services for the Business Operations department.  This includes administrative responsibilities such as data entry, filing, processing cash deposits, and supplies inventory management.  The position is responsible for facilitating the procurement of resources through generation of purchase orders and invoice processing.  Position will generally require 25 hours a week Monday-Friday. Click here to download full Job Description

This position is responsible for facilitating and assisting with the development and implementation of Technology and Maker program offerings throughout the education department. Early Childhood Master Educator – Part Time
The Early Childhood Master Educator is responsible for implementing and facilitating early childhood programs for school groups, families and teachers through presentation of on and offsite classes, workshops and programs.  The Master Educator will work up to 40 hours per week in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with other educators, volunteers and supervisors to ensure that early childhood products and services accurately reflect the mission of the Kentucky Science Center and conform to strategic goals, objectives and outcomes. Space Flight Educator I – Part-Time

Visitor Services Representative – Part Time
Visitor Services Representatives are the first contact our guests have at the Kentucky Science Center. A friendly demeanor and glowing attitude are a must. Successful candidates for this entry level position will have at least a High School Diploma, prior retail cash handling and service experience, the ability to work a flexible schedule and a desire to support informal education. Visitor Services Representatives work in areas including Ticket Desk, Gift Shop, Concessions, Advanced Sales, Theater, and Membership Sales.

Educator I – Part Time
This position is responsible for presenting educational programs, classes and activities to Science Center visitors with emphasis on school and group field trip audiences from public, private, home schools, and day cares.
